This Azy Coteaux Rouge is a still red wine that is certified Organic.
The Champagne coteaux are non-sparkling wines, traditionally produced in the Champagne region. They are produced in very small quantities by rare wine growers.
This Azy rouge cuvée signed Christophe Lefèvre Champagne is made of 100% Pinot Noir.
The passage in oak barrels has endowed this still wine with nice woody notes while keeping the nice fruity bouquet typical of Pinot Noir.
A light wine, sublimated by organic farming!
Aspect: Calm and unctuous appearance, beautiful red colour.
Nose: Complex scents of fresh red fruits and smoky notes.
Palate: Woody notes keeping a nice bouquet of red fruits.
Contains sulfites

The Christophe Lefèvre Champagne is one of the more “recent” Champagne creation Houses. Founded by Christophe Lefèvre, a son of a Champagne farmer and grandson of a winegrower, this family House is located in the western part of the Marne Valley and near Château Thierry. The Christophe Lefèvre champagne is also one of the very few Champagne Houses to have always cultivated and elaborated its champagnes in accordance with organic viticulture.
This commitment, recognized by the prestigious “organic label”, guarantees the total absence of synthetic products in the vines, or the cellars. It is also the recognition of a viticulture more concerned with the quality of the grapes and vines than the quantitative production.
After years spent restoring the family vineyard, Christophe and his son are now at the head of their own Champagne House with 4.30 hectares of vines, blending their wines on the estate. After almost 40 years of existence, the Christophe Lefèvre Champagne has established itself as one of Champagne's references in organic champagne.
