This Grand Cru from the Reims Mountain is a gastronomic champagne.

It is made from the most beautiful and oldest vines of the estate. It is blended from Chardonnay (65%) and Pinot Noir (35%) from the 2017 harvest.

The wines are aged separately in oak barrels for 9 months.

The result is an exceptionally powerful champagne. This extra brut (4.5 g/l) has a very nice freshness where the typical Pinot Noir aromas (red fruits, blackberries and blueberries) are expressed as well as peach and apricot hints.

It finishes with a beautiful mineral and fruity length.

This champagne expresses a certain idea of the terroir. Surprising and atypical, you will be struck by this exceptional champagne.

A true wine for oenophiles and gourmets, to be served with foie gras and apricot zest, stuffed capon, white meat or sea fish!

Aspect: straw gold.

Nose: open, powerful with red fruits and, behind, some citrus fruits such as white peach and nectarine.

Palate: reveals a formidable power and a beautiful acidity where aromas of fruits (blackberries, blueberries, blackcurrants, white peach and apricot). It finishes with a long aftertaste of small candied red fruits and minerals.

Contains sulfites

About Champagne Vignon

Stéphane Vignon is like an alien in a region that produces champagnes that are the exact opposite of his range!

This family-run house, located in Verzenay, produces rare champagnes, vinified only in parcels, all in Grand Cru, dosed in extra brut and vintage.

The wines of the house are quite simply authentic: mostly worked in barrels, with natural yeasts, without fining or filtration, and chaptalization, if nature allows it, is not sought after. The Vignon house is a straightforward, terroir-based champagne for all lovers of gastronomy!
