Champagne Hardy Stéphane - Brut

Champagne Hardy Stéphane - Rosé de Macération Grand Cru

Here is a cuvée for fruity champagne connoisseurs!

This organic cuvée is made with 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. This rosé by Hardy is not the result of a blend (a mixture of white and red wines), but of a pellicular maceration. It is therefore a champagne of character with intense aromas of strawberry and cherry carried by an extra brut dosage (4.65 g/l).

This champagne calls for gastronomic meals, summer tables where Mediterranean flavours and desserts based on red fruits mingle.

A rare thing in Champagne, we recommend not hesitating to open the bottle 1 hour before tasting (open then close immediately with a hermetic cork). This oxygenation will allow your champagne to open up and reveal all its aromas.

About champagne Stéphane Hardy

There was a time when the fields mattered more than the vines in Champagne and the Hardy house could have never existed.

Today, Stéphane Hardy, who defines himself as "a minimalist peasant", still wears both hats: winemaker in the morning, and farmer in the afternoon. A true connoisseur of his terroir, this committed advocate of organic farming converted all his fields and vines to organic methods in 2012.

The style of the house?

Champagnes dominated by Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, blended with reserve wines aged in oak barrels for more complexity and substance.
