The Chaillots Gillis vintage by Nicolas Maillart is a powerful champagne of rare complexity.

This Blanc de Blancs is made from Chardonnay grapes from two parcels located in Ecueil. These two Premier Cru parcels are home to old vines that develop very concentrated grapes.

Les Chaillots Gillis was vinified in oak barrels and aged for 6 months on the lees. It is a naturally balanced Blanc de Blancs, which avoids the addition of sugar.

The result is a Brut Nature champagne with a powerful nose and a great frankness on the aromas of citrus fruits and chalk. On the palate, you will immediately be struck by its freshness. This parcel-based vintage reveals a magnificent complexity and great harmony before opening up on liquorice notes.

This vintage champagne is a true confidential vintage, only produced in remarkable years.

A great gastronomic champagne, ready to accompany you on all your desires!

About Champagne Nicolas Maillart

This family-run business invites you to dive into the heart of the Premier and Grand Cru terroirs of the Montagne de Reims.

Nicolas Maillart is one of the most innovative winemakers of his generation. Since he took over the family business, he has never ceased to remodel the approach to his vineyard, whether it be to convert the vines to organic farming or to reintroduce Petit Meslier, an indigenous grape variety that has almost disappeared.
