The 5g by Néret Vély is a perfectly balanced Champagne de terroir.
The cuvée is elaborated from grapes grown in Festigny, a village in the Marne Valley, west of Épernay. This terroir is especially renowned for the quality of its Pinot Meunier, a grape variety that produces round, low-acidity, fruity wines (apple, raspberry, redcurrant).
The vines used to produce Cuvée 5g are cultivated using a draft horse to avoid compacting the soil, thus allowing vines develop their roots deep down into the soil and absorb all the typicity of the terroir.
The 5g is vinified from pinot meunier (85%) and pinot noir (15%).
A light extra-brut dosage (5 g/l) brings a lovely tension to this champagne, developing fruity notes along with an unexpected minerality in the Marne Valley.
A champagne to taste for pleasure!

Lascio quattro stelle in attesa che passi un po' di tempo e che il vino si maturi un po'

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo Mi aspettavo qualcosa in più da un extra brut in termini di acidità e sapidità

The Néret family is a real UFO in the Champagne landscape. And for good reason: in the 1980s, the Néret family were dairy farmers and accountants!
But the desire was there and, little by little, the family built up a vineyard with little means but an enormous amount of work. It is with great pride that Carole Néret took over the reins of the business founded by her parents.
Today, she produces champagnes that reflect the family's image and history: atypical and with a strong personality, but always for your greatest pleasure.
