Les Echalas cuvée by Néret Vély is highly complex.
Made from old Pinot Meunier vines, this Blanc de Noirs champagne is highly original. On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe yellow fruit, spice, bread and butter. A quick aeration will reveal apple and candied lemon aromas.
On the palate, the attack is firm and supported by a low sugar content (2g/l) which highlights the tension and natural energy of this wine.
The long, mineral finish is indicative of a Blanc de Noirs champagne that is perfectly mastered and surprising in its tonicity and body.
A true gastronomic champagne, to be served with poultry and cheese or simply as an aperitif!
Aspect: straw yellow and regular effervescence.
Nose: ripe yellow fruits and spices. Notes of bread and butter denote good aging. Airing gives this champagne a second youth with aromas of reinette apple and candied lemon.
Palate: firm and consistent attack. Beautiful effervescence and acidity which bring rhythm to the tasting. Long, powerful and mineral finish.

The Néret family is a real UFO in the Champagne landscape. And for good reason: in the 1980s, the Néret family were dairy farmers and accountants!
But the desire was there and, little by little, the family built up a vineyard with little means but an enormous amount of work. It is with great pride that Carole Néret took over the reins of the business founded by her parents.
Today, she produces champagnes that reflect the family's image and history: atypical and with a strong personality, but always for your greatest pleasure.
