This Blanc de blancs Champagne by the Bergeronneau Marion House is a single varietal champagne made from Chardonnay.
Only 3,000 bottles were made and the grapes used to make this champagne come from the 1st Cru slopes of the Reims mountains.
This cuvee has been vinified exclusively in Champagne oak barrels and aged for 36 months in the cellar.
The result is a round Brut champagne (8 g/L) that will perfectly match your aperitifs. Its Chardonnay base also makes it an ideal companion to fish or shellfish dishes.
Aspect: Flamboyant pale yellow gold. Light bubbles on a refined cordon
Nose: Racy with a refined and delicate first nose supported by hints of citrus fruit. Then, honey and buttery notes are perceived, with a sweet and woody finish. Its flavors are brought by the ageing in perfectly controlled oak barrels
Palate: Pure attack of character, resulting from malolactic fermentation. Then, the full and round mouth is intensified by a refined effervescence. Fine peppery and mineral finish with citrus fruit notes.

The Bergerenneau Marion champagne was born from the union of children of winegrowers from the Reims mountains: Véronique Marion and Florent Bergeronneau. First part of a cooperative Champagne House, the Bergeronneau Marion House quickly made the decision to produce its own champagnes on the property.
Several decades have passed since this radical change for the House and success has been achieved. This family business produces single-variety and plot champagnes recognized by many of the world's greatest guides and competitions.
