About the champagnes in the Terroir box

Vintage 2015 – champagne Pierson Cuvelier – Montagne de Reims : A vintage rated 17/20 revisited by our star winemaker from the Montagne de Reims. This Grand Cru is only made with the heart of the cuvée (the first and best juices from the harvest). Pierson Cuvelier signs here a 100% Pinot, the favorite grape variety of this terroir and a sugar dosage of 5g/l for this powerful and generous vintage.

Dualissime Grand Cru – champagne Lancelot Royer – Côte des Blancs : This single-varietal champagne is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the Grand Cru vines of Chouilly and Avize. The result is a champagne which is in line with the greatest Blanc de Blancs as only the Côte des Blancs and the Lancelot Royer house know how to produce.c

Eminence 2014 – champagne Christian Naudé – Vallée de la Marne : It is made from 1/3 Pinot Meunier, 1/3 Pinot Noir and 1/3 Chardonnay, exclusively from the 2014 harvest. All the grapes used in the composition of this champagne come from the Marne valley, where Maison Christian Naudé is located. A very beautiful cuvée to be tasted immediately or left to age for a few more years.

Brut Nature Grand Cru – champagne Pierson Cuvelier – Montagne de Reims : It is made of 100% Pinot Noir from the Grand Cru villages of Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Aÿ. In addition to being a Grand Cru champagne, it is exclusively made up of "heart of cuvee” (the best quality juice obtained during the pressing of the grape). This champagne is the result of three years of harvesting and has been aged for a minimum of 36 months.

Fil d'Ariane 2012 – champagne Mathieu Nicolas – Vallée de la Marne : A vintage rated 18/20 and which has benefited the Vallée de la Marne. This brut cuvée (8.2g/l) is made from a blend of the region's 3 great grape varieties: Chardonnay (60%), Pinot Noir (20%) and Pinot Meunier (20%). It is a generous wine with character punctuated by notes of praline and fresh honey.

Rosé Prestige – champagne Bérat Schenk – Vallée de la Marne : A 100% Pinot Noir in the image of its grape variety, all in roundness and power. It develops unexpected aromas of figs and prunes which makes it an ideal companion for your summer dinners.

Vintage 2014 Blanc de Blancs – champagne Poirot – Côte des Blancs : This 2014 vintage signed Poirot Champagne is a champagne combining freshness, balance and great complexity. On the palate, it develops a beautiful balance and a complexity inherited from a long maturation. You will be surprised by the roundness of this champagne, typical of its terroir (south of the Côte des Blancs).

Rosé 1er Cru – champagne Pierson Cuvelier – Montagne de Reims : This 1er Cru is only made with the heart of the cuvée (the first and best juices from the harvest). 100% Pinot Noir (the king grape variety of the Montagne de Reims) for this gourmet and generous champagne.

2012 vintage – champagne Bérat Schenk - Vallée de la Marne : 18/20 for this exceptional vintage made from 3 great grape varieties : Pinot Meunier (60%), Pinot Noir (30%) and Chardonnay (10%). Three years in oak barrels combined with the unique know-how of the Bérat Schenk estate make it a vintage of great quality, powerful, with aromas of red fruits and toasted bread.

Cuvée des Chevaliers Grand Cru – champagne Lancelot Royer – Côte des Blancs : A 100% Chardonnay from the prestigious Grand Cru classified villages of Cramant, Chouilly, Oger and Avise. It is a champagne characterized by its freshness, its structure and its great elegance which have earned it a place of honor on the menu of several starred restaurants.

Blanc de Blancs 2016 – champagne Christian Naudé – Vallée de la Marne : An atypical cuvée, this 100% Chardonnay blanc de blancs from the Marne Valley. It brings together freshness and delicacy with great talent.

Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs – champagne Poirot – Côte des Blancs : This cuvée is a typical Côte des Blancs champagne: fresh, direct and mineral. The extra-brut dosage of this cuvée (4 g/l) allows the full finesse of the characteristic aromas of this 100% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs to be brought out. This is a champagne that will seduce you with its fine nose and its aromatic profile, both direct and fresh.
