Compared to the rest of the French vineyard, 2012 was a very favorable year for Champagne. In fact, it was one of its greatest vintages ever. Some oenologists call it a year comparable to the exceptional years 1990 or 1996!
It is therefore not by chance that Albert Beerens has dedicated a vintage to this incredible year. Blended from the three great Champagne grape varieties (35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier), this 2012 vintage combines complexity and harmony.
The low sugar content of this cuvee (7.8g/l) allows all its aromas to develop.
A perfect companion for your dinners, this vintage also goes very well with veal in casseroles or roasted lobster.
Aspect: Golden yellow
Nose: Powerful and complex, perfectly combining fruity, floral, vanilla and spicy aromas.
